A complete success

The 1st Golf-united tournament (Benefiz Masters) can be regarded as a complete success. Around 80 participants played for a good cause, in the most beautiful weather, surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. A total of 53,500 EUR was able to be provided to charitable organisations.

Avid golfers from the domains of business, medicine and sport gathered in Braz. These included, among others, Austrian Winter sports legends like the multiple luge world champion Markus Prock and the luger Angelika Neuner (Olympic silver medallist), and the multiple medal winner Andy Wenzel from Liechtenstein.

In their playing, the participants showed much motivation toward increasing the donation for their favourite charity through their personal score. The total sum of 53,500 EUR was distributed as follows during the evening awards ceremony:

1st place: 15,000 EUR for Vorarlberger Life Support
2nd place: 13,000 EUR for Right To Play Switzerland
3rd place: 12,000 EUR for East Switzerland Children’s Cancer Help
4th place: 10,000 EUR for Plan Deutschland

Dr. Wolfgang Burger (Dent-Implant), Lilian Baumann (Kinderkrebshilfe Ostschweiz), Nina Strangmeyer (Plan Deutschland), Andreas Wenzel (Right to play), Dr. Gabriele Nussbaumer (Lebenshilfe Vorarlberg) and Carsten Koerl (Sportradar)
